Hi y'all,
A sincere thank you to those who participated in our first season of virtual body-doubling for collapse! We're grateful for the connections made and preparations undertaken.
A note on what we learned this spring/summer:
Through organizing this initiative, we noticed the most engagement in late spring and early summer (late April to the end of June). This makes sense to us as it coincides with the time when we are feeling the most pressure to get our ducks in a row for the upcoming fire/flood season. Attendance petered off in late July, and by August we were feeling like the focus (including our own) had shifted elsewhere.
Accordingly, we will start our virtual body doubling sessions again in spring 2026. Stay tuned for details coming your way around March.
In the meantime, our website prep4collapse.com is always available as a resource.
We have added some winter- specific resources — take a look!
We are open to feedback about our work so if you're up to it, send us an email telling us what you thought.
And if you no longer wish to receive emails from us, just let us know and we'll take you off the list.
Keep creating those strong connections and plan Bs and we'll see you in the future!
In solidarity,
the P4C team

an instance of a structure or system falling apart.
a sudden and complete failure of an institution.
Welcome,
This page is an ongoing effort to collect information that relates to planning for community safety and care in emergency situations (such as evacuation, power loss, climate crisis, and war).
We are creating it from the territory of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta’an Kwäch’än Council (Whitehorse YT), so it will be specific to this area and the Yukon more generally, though much of it will be useful and applicable for other regions.
If you have any questions, or resources you would like to add to this list, please email info@prep4collapse.com
How To Use This Page
Read through the resources available with the folks you would like to be connected with during a community-wide emergency. Use the resources to make a plan together.
Print out anything that is relevant to you so that you can access it if the internet/power goes down. (If you need access to a printer, email us and we’ll hook you up)
Check back to see if resources have been added, or email info@prep4collapse.com with suggestions of what to add.
Note: Not everything written or linked here will be useful to everyone. We aim to have a wide variety of resources so that you can pick and choose what makes sense for you and your loved ones.
Let’s take care of ourselves and one another!
